ANOTHER YEAR 2015

No comments:
Another year doesn't ease the tears that we cry,
Nor does it make us understand and stop asking why,
The feelings felt on that fateful day still does remain,
Missing you is still the same and so is the pain.

Repeatedly thoughts of you go through our every mind,
Another year of unanswered questions and wandering around blind,
As we hold onto all of the memories united is how we stand,
And pray that you are at peace with our hands in hand.

Time does not stop but if only it could,
Or if turned back we most certainly would,
What brought us together is our love for you,
Not letting the world forget who you were is now what we do.

At one sweet time we will reunite again,
We have to suffer with your absence every day until then,
You are watching over while keeping us under your angelic wing,
And making sure that we are safe from harm in everything.

So as we all remember how very blessed we all are,
To have had the pleasure of knowing you whether it was near or far,
Even though we must live with you being taken before you were meant to go,
You are forever dearly loved and missed and this we all definitely know.

MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED

No comments:
My future seemed to be at a point of the unknown,
I couldn’t read the signs that the good Lord had shown,
All that my past taught me was most people are untrue,
Then all my prayers were answered when I fell in love with you.

We have known each other for the longest time but never did I see,
You to be my soulmate spending your forever with me,
But now I could not imagine my life lived any other way,
And I promise I’ll love you deeply until my dying day.

Always kind and gentle, to be around you is a delight,
Just one of many reasons why I know that we are right,
Respecting me like I have never been respected before,
With actions not just words I see it’s me that you adore.

I constantly think all things in life that you and I will share,
Never again will you feel lonely for I will always be there,
When I make my vows I will mean every single word I speak,
Devoted to making you happy and carrying you when you feel weak.

HOLDING ON HOPING FOR THE BEST

No comments:
Drifting along uncontrollably,
Like a leaf blowing in the wind,
Unaware of my final destination,
Or the direction I'll go to get there.

Trying to enjoy the journey,
Taking it all as it comes,
Noticing all the sights, sounds and aromas,
Embracing what surrounds me.

Feeling excited about what's ahead,
Even though I don't know what to expect,
I recognise all that is out of my hands,
Holding on hoping for the best.

WITH ME FOREVER & ALWAYS

No comments:
I have to accept the fact that you are now gone,
The endless tears I cry will never bring you back,
No matter how many times I scream about how this this is wrong,
It will not fill the void that you leave that is the darkest black.

I know you are at rest in a better place,
You are watching over me and guiding me through,
Nothing or no one can ever replace,
The special bond forever shared between me and you.

God had a reason to take you away,
You were needed in Heaven to be by his side,
I carry you in my heart every minute of every day,
And feel you with me in spirit as I continue life’s ride.

You are and always will be a significant part of me,
And I wear that with pride because you were the best,
But the time has come for me to finally set you free,
To be honest that will be my hardest test.

MY FEELINGS, YOUR FEELINGS

No comments:
I hate it when tears like raindrops stream down me,
Or when it gets so dark I'm unable to see,
Trying to ignore peoples bullshit and greed,
Wanting to be emotionally freed,

You hate it when people lie to you,
Cry tears like raindrops when they laugh at what you've been through,
Despite the blinding darkness you still seem to see,
Remain so true and being emotionally free.

WHAT I WANT FOR YOU

No comments:
When you look into my eyes I want you to see your future,
Visions full of joy and forever,
It's a spiritual booster,
When you wrap your arms around me I want you to feel positivity,
Emotions full of hope and comfort,
It's a sense of security,
When you search within my heart I want you to bear your soul with ease,
Finding full of what's honest and true,
It's a moment in time we'll freeze,
When you hear me say your name I want you to have no doubt,
Knowledge full of trust and devotion,
It's a love you can't live without,
When you smell my perfume in the air I want you to claim it as Heaven sent,
Fragrances full of what unites us,
It's a symbol you and I represent.

TEARS AND FEARS

No comments:
There is a thought that stays in the back of my mind,
A thought that brings a tear to my eye,
I'm thinking about how one day you may come to find,
That you want to turn around on me and tell me goodbye,
You have told me that you love what we have presently,
And love the thought of our future just the same,
But I fear you could get bored or sick of me,
All of this turning into a shocking, messy shame,
There are no words to totally describe how much I care,
Knowing you are mine makes me know where I belong,
I dream about what lies ahead that you and I will hopefully share,
Please don't ever say that you would much rather be gone.

OUR LITTLE WORLD

No comments:
If I were to say that I didn't love or need you,
I would then need to say that it wasn't true,
It's natural for things to be up and down,
But the smiles outweigh anytime I may frown,
I have recently had time to stop and see,
How much our unity really means to me,
When I think of our future I cry happy tears,
Feeling comfortable about what once were fears,
More and more you put me at ease,
Our little world will once again be a breeze,
And life will go back to how it was in the past,
Only now it will be stronger and it will surely last.

UNWELL NOT MENTAL

No comments:
Is all this imaginary?
Are your acts involuntary?
Singing sweetly like a canary,
Then all of a sudden your moods vary,
Every morning is a surprise,
Unaware of what may arise,
You wear a complicated disguise,
It can be difficult to recognize,
What on earth fills your mind?
Searching hard for nothing to find,
Constantly having an axe to grind,
I don't want this to be how you are defined.

THINK ABOUT IT

No comments:
What is worse than a child on the street,
With no bed to sleep on or food to eat,
Knots in their hair and blisters on their feet,
No home to go to, no parents to greet,
What would you do if you had to go through
All of the things that these poor children do,
Think about it each time you waste food,
Because that child could have been you,
What would you do if that child belonged to you,
And they were on the street because of what you put them through,
Would you realise what you've done and do,
Remember each street kid is a part of me and you.

MARTIN

No comments:
The innocence of my homeland was ripped away,
Within minutes evil revealed its ugly head,
Armed and furious he went on a rampage,
With no regard for others murder was on his mind,
People robbed of their lives so unexpectedly,
Tragedy inflicted by someone extremely disturbed,
Bullet after bullet carelessly fired in the blink of an eye,
Men, women and children unaware that day would be their last,
Loud screaming while looking for any place to hide,
Inside all were diving under tables or anywhere they could,
Outside was grass, nature and barely erect structures,
Wide open with very few options for refuge,
A young girl crouched behind a tree using it as a shield,
Unfortunately that was where she took her final breath,
Those who survived remain trapped within their thoughts,
Stuck with the memories of that dreadful autumn day,
The yellow of the sun blue of the sky brown and green of the land,
Faded into the red of shed blood the only colour to be seen,
Many years have passed but the sorrow lingers and remains,
The sorrow and the shock that was felt all around the world.

ME

No comments:

Whenever you are missing me,
Whenever you want to be kissing me,
Close your eyes and think of me,
And you'll be right there beside me.

If you ever lose faith in me,
If you're blind to see the real me,
Listen to the words spoken by me,
And know it's you who empowers me.

RELATIONSHIP CRIMINAL

No comments:

Tears of anger and frustration roll down my face,
Everything revolved around you didn't even give myself my own space,
How could you show so little emotion?
Only in a few words you expressed your devotion,

I feel like you've given me freedom of choice,
To rediscover me and find my own voice,
You will realise in due time,
That you committed our relationships crime,
This is to give you a piece of my mind,
I bet your pride will withold you and keep you blind,
If you look back on what you have done,
It'll hit like a ton of bricks that I was the special one.

B1 & B2

No comments:
Girl we aint no bobble head,
Poetry flows from us like blood is bled,
Words to say and songs to sing,
Haters can hit us with anything,
Bring it on! We handle our shit,
After two minutes in our shoes they'd all quit,
Our God given gift is a blessing,
Let people think what they want - I'm not stressing,
One day everyone will come crawling to our feet,
Claiming to be friends reminding how we all did meet,
Step by step day by day,
The time will come when we'll kick the losers away,
And live out our dream by then a reality,
We're already kicking ass in recovery!

EMPATHY

No comments:
I know that things have not been easy,
That your life has been a bumpy ride,
Shades of darkness, not always breezy,
Sometimes feeling that no one was by your side,
I want to tell you there's been a change,
I'm here to help you through any pain,
Understanding this is new and slightly strange,
I'll still be your sunshine in the rain,
When everything around you seems to be down,
And emotions hit an all time low,
I will make a smile from a frown,
I will try to make your inner light glow,
We'll become even closer in good time,
We're still getting used to being more than a friend,
Our love like a vine will continue to climb,
There is no need to rush or to pretend,
Your every single hurt is now my hurt,
To me love just works that way,
So when it feels like you're down in the dirt,
Don't ever think that I will go away,
Please be open and seek me for support,
I'm there for you whenever it's someone you need,
There is nothing in this world I will not help you sort,
Please hear me as I plead,
When I say that I have got you,
I mean it from the very bottom of my heart,
If we continue hand in hand staying true,
Not a thing can ever tear us apart.

OFF MY RADAR

No comments:
I am not your rebound or booty call,
Boy your heart must be really small,
A small mind and a big head,
Thinking flirty texts will get me in your bed,

It's time for you to get over yourself,
I now think that you are a pelf,
Tried and tried to be your friend,
That has now come to a bitter end,

Fool me once - oh yes you did,
No fooling me twice here kid,
Yeah once I had feelings for you,
No longer is that slightly true,

I'm not shallow with looks and appearance,
Attitude makes you look worse and I'm not doing perseverance,
Take a good look in the mirror viewing beyond your reflection,
You now cease to be picked up by my radar detection.

POWERFUL

No comments:
We are women so powerful watch us strongly obtain,
Taking care of any business we need to get done,
Living for those we love with no aim to selfishly gain,
While upon us sits an emotional tonne.

We are women so powerful watch us strongly soar,
Mothers who are bringing life here on earth,
Be warned when you hear her ferocious, fierce roar,
Protecting her family who hold an infinite worth.

We are women so powerful watch us strongly work it,
Kicking ass career wise making a dollar and a name,
Whatever the occupation we are a smash hit,
In what was once upon a time a male dominated game.

We are women so powerful watch us strongly show love,
Go anywhere or do anything for her other half,
No other adult could or would be placed above,
Wanting to keep them safe, warm their hearts and make them laugh.

We are women so powerful watch us strongly ride solo,
Independently taking on the world on her own,
Not afraid she likes to approach things like yolo,
Confidently doing her own thing showing it's ok to be alone.

CAN YOU SEE I'M TRYING

No comments:
It's easy to put all the blame on me,
That girl behaves antisocially,
Well how am I supposed to get it right,
When you go where I fear or I don't get an invite,
The word is simple - compromise,
try seeing this scary world through my eyes,
I'm doing my best to make a real effort,
but that's ignored - easy for you to forget it,
How much more am I meant to do?
To feel my presence is wanted by you.

THE ROAD AHEAD

No comments:
Times are tough,
Roads are long,
we'll achieve enough,
If we are strong,

All for one,
One for all,
As bright as the sun,
We will stand tall,

Flooding rain,
A stormy cloud,
Raging pain,
Screams so loud,

Future days,
Time apart,
Love that stays,
Within a heart.

WINGS

No comments:
I want to spread my wings,
Fly into the sunset,
Take on whatever the world brings,
No longer feel regret,
soaring across the treetops,
Endless places to explore,
From oceans to valleys to sugarcane crops,
I wouldn't be trapped anymore.

FINALLY FREEDOM

No comments:
Trapped inside my own vicious mind,
Logic was so hard to find,
I forgot how exactly to be me,
I wanted to let loose and fly free,
My ankles and wrists were cast and bound,
Chains so heavy they dragged along the ground,
No strength to stand,
No will to fight,
No creativity to write,
This all was released today,
I took one last look as the chains went away,
Every fierce feeling that lived deep inside,
No longer have that deep hole to hide.

SOULMATE

No comments:
You bring out parts of me that I thought I'd lost forever,
You treat me in a way I haven't been treated like ever,
You put a smile on my face how I've never smiled before,
You make me feel that I no longer have to search anymore,
You talk to me like a prince would talk to his princess,
You see me and look passed all that I think makes me a mess,
You praise me in such ways that I am really not used to,
You open up comfortably showing your emotions are true,
You kiss me and it sends nice shivers down my spine,
You put hope in me that my dream man will finally be mine,
You drive away and I miss you the second we're apart,
You have proven to me that I'm able to have true love in my heart,
You take me as I am which puts my mind at complete ease,
You look at me in a way making me weak at the knees,
You raise my faith to a level of us meeting being fate,
You give my whole being confirmation that you are my soulmate.

FEELINGS

No comments:
Feelings might explore things you wish you could just hide,
Feelings might emphasize parts you want to leave behind,
Feelings might light you up to see what's real inside,
Feelings might be influenced by a sense of pride,
Feelings might just suddenly cease,
Feelings might allow words to increase,
Feelings might make the mind feel it can't release,
Feelings might keep you from getting any peace,
Feelings might try and trick the heart to forget,
Feelings might cause flowing tears over much regret,
Feelings might sometimes bring out the worst in you,
Feelings might teach how to learn, flourish and battle through.

HEART TORN APART

No comments:
There was a time when I thought I could come to you for anything,
That you were a second safety net,
Another provider of motherly love,
But everything has changed,
A breaking point has been reached,
My safety net that started to tear,
Now have gaping holes where I fall right through,
You ride proudly upon your high horse,
Family is now beneath you,
We are constantly walking on egg shells,
You remind us of our faults,
Your choices are never wrong,
Yet more and more we're degraded,
No longer will I allow the mind games,
I am not that little girl who sat on your knee,
Disrespect has broken my heart,
I can't praise you genuinely anymore,
It will never occur to you how much you hurt others,
I for one will not be there when you're most vulnerable,
Only blood connects us that's not my choice,
Emotionally you've drained me empty,
My prayer is that you will realise this,
I doubt you acknowledge all the mess that you cause,
And for that I can only pity you,
Enjoy your world of blissful ignorance,
Because nothing lasts forever,
One day you'll be the lonely one,
Begging at my door,
Just remember one fact about me,
I don't forget anything.

THE FIGHT

No comments:
I feel torn and nothing feels right,
End a battle to start another fight,
Waking every day with someone else to please,
Wishing for a happy time where good times just freeze,

Sometimes It's like I'm in a twilight zone,
Many that know me have left me all alone,
They are confusing me with turmoil between themselves,
Leaving my emotions up on tall, dusty shelves,

What will happen when all is said and done?
Where will we all be now the web of lies is spun?
I pray I will be at peace, intact and shining bright,
Hopefully everything will then feel right.

MY GUIDING LIGHT

No comments:
Standing in the darkness,
Pool of blood around my feet,
Slowly rising, getting deeper,
I'm drowning all around and alone,
Suddenly I see a ray of light,
Beaming down to make me feel so warm,
The blood surrounding me starts to dry,
And I feel goodness in my heart,
How do I remove the remaining darkness?
For if I don't my ray of light will fade,
I can already sense that things are going dim,
But what can I say when I've put out my own lights,
Standing here with one ray of light,
It's been sufficient to give me comfort,
I just need to make sure that my light sees the light,
That I have for all that's inside of me.

MY DEAR MAMA (HAPPY MOTHERS DAY)

No comments:
To the lovely lady that gave me life,
That gave me advice and tried to keep me out of strife,
Whenever I needed it 'cause being young is hard,
She never hesitated to come and stand guard,
She would hold her hand in mine,
Wiping tears when I cry, love her till the end of time.
When I was 3 suddenly it was just mama and me,
I'd see she tried hard to give me food to eat,
Life got hard, she stood her ground,
She knew what life alone was all about,
I may have been small but I still know,
It took a lot to survive and grow,
Living in a world of alcoholic war,
Fighting and family that wasn't asked for,
So a decision was made which turned out best for all,
A day I saw my mama rise and saw my daddy fall.
In many a little flat we'd place our beds,
No flash pillows yet still rested heads,
When I was sick she'd tenderly hold my face,
I wouldn't have rathered been in any other place,
Times have changed, now I'm grown, I'm my own,
And despite all of the tantrums I've thrown,
Life wouldn't be life without your motherly way,
I appreciate and love you,
Happy Mother's Day.

WHY ME?

No comments:
I was just an innocent child,
Quiet, timid and emotionally mild,
Showing kindness and compassion to anyone,
I don't know why I was bullied by everyone.
Their teasing and behaviour cut like a knife,
To a point where it ended up consuming my life,
Each morning I cried a river to my mum,
Knowing another day of torment and cruelty had come.
I'd say I felt sick and couldn't go to school today,
In desperation I gave excuses so at home I could stay,
Why was it me they had chosen to taunt?
This was confusing and upon my mind it would haunt.
I would wonder whether I did something wrong,
I felt like I didn't have anywhere to belong,
Especially when the teachers started to join in,
Now both students and teachers were bullying.
It all finally took a complete toll on me,
I started suffering from depression and anxiety,
My family had to get involved as my defense,
Due to the bullying becoming violently intense.
I was just an innocent child,
Quiet, timid and emotionally mild,
Showing kindness and compassion to anyone,
I don't know why I was bullied by everyone.

DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH

No comments:
Are you really that stupid,
Behaving how you do,
To get an arrow shot by Cupid,
Giving a love sincere and true,
Playing games with women,
Not caring if you make them cry,
Work hard if you want this woman,
Man, you'll really have to try,
It's not cool to be a player,
You could find yourself alone,
'Cause I wont wanna see you later,
Remember - women are girls who have grown,
I'm not saying you're a lost cause,
But I wont fall for just the chase,
Till I'm satisfied there will be no applause,
I am rare and hard to replace.

WHILE I'M SINGLE

No comments:
Being fly and poetic on my own 'cause I can,
While out there searching for me is a man,
Wondering why he hasn't found me yet,
Well being priceless makes me difficult to get,
Maybe he aint got enough soul to afford,
This rhyming queen who is very much loved and adored,
Independent and in no hurry to hold anybody's hand,
With the exception of a gentleman who'll truly understand,
I wont be seen at the club bump and grinding on whoever,
Men you're dealing with a lady who is classy and clever,
That's not to say I'll never have my eye on anyone,
But when I do he will know it when all is said and done,
I'm over all that shit - don't hate the player hate the game,
Getting older not looking at things quite the same,
At the moment I'll continue to write my words down,
Setting in stone so I don't get chased by some clown.
You can take the girl outta the 'burg but not the 'burg outta the girl,
I've learned my lessons being part of that train station world,
Never again bowing to who do not deserve respect,
You all created this monster - what do you expect?
To end this spit I will say I'm more than happy to mingle,
But until I find my king I'll be me remaining single.

THE SUPREME TEAM PRAYER

No comments:
Jesus in your name I pray,
Please bless all of us today,
Guide us as we're beginning,
This journey of justice for the worst of sinning,
May our Guardian Angel please be at our side,
With his family and friends standing strong for the ride,
Please fill us with strength when we need be at our strongest,
And patience if we need be for the longest.
Amen

CORRUPTION & MANIPULATION INC.

No comments:
It's amazing what's portrayed in the media today,
Manipulating our thoughts, how we look, what we say,
Babies having inappropriate content shoved in their face,
Portraying that it's cooler to be a whore than it is to have grace,
My mama didn't raise no fool, she raised me to have class,
A young lady shouldn't take pride in flaunting her breasts and ass,
I'm not declaring I'm perfection but at that age was not too bad,
Most role models these days are negative it really is sad,
Multi millions and fame given to those first discovered by making porn,
13 year olds admiring them while waiting for their own child to be born,
Tradition and reputation has nearly been completely lost,
Young minds moulded to believe that popularity should be gained at any cost,
Much has changed in society since I was a teenage girl,
I didn't see as much or have to deal with such a chaotic whirl,
The constant bombarding and pressure on the delicate, precious young mind,
Only the dollar sign is what the corporations seek to find.

MY SMART ASS RESPONSE

No comments:
Don't think you've kept me captive and in silence,
I will not tolerate your verbal bullying violence,
I was thrown into this game before you were even born,
All you really are is a jealous little fawn,
You and your lap dog did me a favour,
Raised my numbers so now even more dig my flavour,
Mess around again - you'll have the Dr at your door,
With one slap she'll have you unconscious on the floor,
Good job acting the victim while the other acted like a stalker,
My peeps are like Chuck Norris they kick ass like Walker,
I'm now wiser and a fighter so your plan was a failure,
With a new level of strength it's my turn to play ya!
I'm a woman not a little teeny bopper wannabe,
While you had a shitty nappy I was writing poetry,
I am fine but still when you least expect it,
I will pounce demanding you admit who was disrespected,
Upon your knees you'll beg me to not ruin your reputation,
Too bad you little witch - now who's feeling desperation?
Here's the twist - I wont waste energy by hurting like I say I'll do,
But you better know now that I'll verbally wipe the floor with you,
So next time you want to attempt to challenge me,
Remember I don't need my fist I can knock you out with my vocabulary.

WORLDWIDE SUPERGIRLS

No comments:
This is the young girl living in such dangerous nations,
She is strong, fighting for freedom and educations,
She has the spirit of a grown woman in the making,
She should have the whole world in her hands for the taking,
She will always hope for equality,
She will keep her dream of a violence free community,
She has the wisdom already to not be a child bride,
She takes the judgement and criticism in her stride,
She understands lack of money yet she is not deterred,
She feels what’s allowed for others is hers to be deserved,
She grows every day for a better tomorrow,
She moves forward despite the struggle and sorrow,
She aims to help victims of all tragedy,
She protects trying to help stop teen pregnancy,
She is a girl with a drive stronger than ever before,
Let us pray this is the story for many, many more.

THE AMAZING J

No comments:
Tough as nails,
Strong as steel,
When everything fails,
She still keeps it real,

Heart of gold,
Faith so deep,
Life stories told,
They make me weep,

Wise beyond years,
Beauty and brains,
In times of fears,
Her great courage remains.

UNCONTROLLABLE CIRCUMSTANCE

No comments:
From my two hands life as I knew it was stripped,
There was nothing I could do nor a single word I could say,
With razor blades my whole body and mind was ripped,
It felt like I could handle no more on that day,

Patiently I'm waiting for my deep wounds to heal,
Using time to attempt creating some sort of new life plan,
Trying to discard all that's fake and keep all that's real,
Holding onto any positivity I possibly can,

The scars that now bare tell such a dramatic story,
Sometimes it's hard to not let old feelings creep and get in the way,
I had to start learning how to search through the pain for the glory,
Now I wake thanking God for the person I am today.

SICKENING FEELINGS

No comments:
What was once a love so rare and dear,
Is now extreme anxiety and fear,
A part of me is constantly afraid,
Of the horrible attacks that you made,
Even though I have happily moved on,
These sickening feelings are not yet gone,
It doesn't matter how hard I try,
At times the memories make me want to cry,
What did I ever do to hurt you?
To deserve the torture you put me through,
Not one single part of this is right,
I never again want you in my sight.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

No comments:
I'm not a mind reader,
Nor an ego feeder,
I'll give my all if I care about you,
But screw me around and all of that's through,
Communication is key,
They say the truth will set you free,
Whether things be really good or bad,
No talking if you felt happy or sad,
With that I do have to say,
Your behaviour and mannerisms will push me away,
Remember I'm not one to beg or chase,
No doubt I'll put you right in your place,
Chance after chance I'm prepared to give,
Never forget but always forgive,
A breaking point is what I reach,
Believe me I practice what I preach,
I ask you not to treat me with disrespect,
We both know what there is to expect

ROAM THIS EARTH ALONE

No comments:
My arms are open and ready to embrace,
I know that you are needing me to wrap them around you,
To ease your worries and relieve your pain,
No longer do you have to roam this earth alone,

My heart is clean of bitterness and resentment,
I know that you are needing me to give a piece of it to you,
To let you fall asleep hearing each beat beating,
No longer do you have to roam this earth alone,

My faith in God above continues to keep me strong,
I know that you are needing me to share my strength with you,
To have you know that God and I are always on your side,
No longer do you have to roam this earth alone.

YOU GOT IT WRONG

No comments:
Look where I am at,
You thought I'd fall flat,
That I wouldn't achieve,
Well you better start to believe,

You'd always talk smack,
Can you see my life's on track?
You couldn't have been more wrong,
Thinking I was not strong,

I'm finally being recognised,
Oh please, don't look so surprised,
I knew this would come,
And you thought I was the one that was dumb,

As I flourished and grew,
Where on earth were you?
People now value my skills,
Despite not growing up with lots of $100 bills,

Money didn't get me here,
It was blood, sweat and tears,
Everything is now paying off,
Everything's about to blastoff,

Next time I cross your mind or vision,
The girl you called loser is now a woman on a mission,
And as I rise I'll watch you fall,
For what I have can't be bought at all,

Take a look where I'm at,
The jokes on you - what ya think about that???

DEMON ON YOUR SHOULDER

No comments:
We are separated,
But I feel obligated,
To walk you through the dark of night,
To be your glowing guiding light,
I feel your pain,
It drives me insane,
To know your struggles,
And all your troubles,
What once was ours,
Is yours for hours,
For days and years,
But are still my fears,
My worries and sorrow,
Like a big pill to swallow,
Its stuck and I choke,
These words are no joke
Its one big nightmare,
I can't help but still care,
Your voice is getting distant,
Every day you're more insistent,
To be a man of mystery,
Forgetting 'bout our history,
There's a demon on your shoulder,
And it's making your heart colder,
Taking control,
Killing your soul,
Screwing your mind,
As you follow behind,
Do you scream and shout,
To find a pathway out?

HELL AND BACK

No comments:
I went to Hell and back for you,
Do you know what you put me through?
All the times that you lied,
All the tears that I've cried,
It's my heart that you broke,
You're nothing but a joke.

A waste of years and energy,
I started to forget how to be me,
You walked out the door,
I couldn't take it anymore,
That's why I had to let you go,
Without you now I can grow.

No one will take your shit like I,
You'll live a lonely life then die,
I wish you saw the light,
And maybe you just might,
Because now you are alone,
With a heart of cold hard stone.
